Scissor Sisters
“I can’t decide”
I can’t decide
Whether you should live or die
Oh, you’ll probably go to heaven
Please don’t hang your head and cry
No wonder why
My heart feels dead inside
It’s cold and hard and petrified
Lock the doors and close the blinds
We’re going for a ride

GMail Updates
So a few weeks back - the gmail team released the am I drunk test for sending emails. Quite a fancy update for a product still in beta. Today, I see that they have unleashed emoticon icons for gmail.
Now that the team is adding “for fun” type things - can we bring it out of [...]

Router Fun
A little over a year ago, I switched routers. I went from my trusty Linksys WRT54G to a ZoneAlarm (CheckPoint) Z100G router. Pace Is The Trick - Interpol
You can’t hold it to tight
These matters of security
You don’t have to be wound so tight
Smoking on the balcony
But it’s that sleaze in a park
You women you have no self-control,
The angels remark outside
You were known for insatiable means
I don’t know a thing

OpenOffice 3.0
Today, OpenOffice 3.0 was released to the masses.
As of now it looks like the site is having a hard time coping with massive downloads. I’ll spare you a review or a run down of what is included. You can swing a cat out in the internets and hit a dozen of these sites.
My question to [...]

Holy Cow!
The drop in the DOW this morning - was wild. I am not sure I have ever seen a +1,000 pt drop so near the opening. If I was close to retirment, I would be crapping my pants about right now. I am not even sure a properly diversified portfolio would save you at this [...]

Lyrical Friday
A new feature. Where I give you a snippet from a song. Nothing fancy.
Little Motel - Modest Mouse
We treat mishaps like sinking ships and
I know that I don’t want to be out to drift
Well I can see it in your eyes like I taste your lips and
They both tell me that we’re better than this

World wide rate cuts
The whole world cut interest rates today.
The US Federal Reserve led a co-ordinated round of global official rate cuts today, easing by a half-point, as did the European Central Bank, Bank of England and Swiss, Canadian and Swedish banks.
The Fed said it was cutting its key federal funds rate by 50 basis points to 1.5 [...]
