Today Google signed an agreement to acquire AdMob.
To me it seems a logical foray for Google. More and more the web is being accessed via mobile means. Looking at my personal habits and those of my friends and family – mobile web access is definitely on the rise. I am not sure a lot of people have slowed down to think about the shift we are going through right now with mobile phones.
Of course this means more and more ads brought to you on your phone. It was bound to happen though. With their entry in to the mobile phone market with Android – this is just the next piece of the puzzle. Right now – Google seems to be an unstoppable force.
