Some days I am sorry I started a salt water tank.
Lately it has been one of those months. Contrast it to my fresh water tank – the darn thing is almost maintenance free. Something always seems to be going on in our marine tank however.
The image below looks about what I am fighting currently. It’s starting to break out in a portion of my sand bed as well. The stuff on the sand bed is most likely cyano algae. I am going to pick up another power head today and toss in there. The stuff seems to be limited to just one area of the tank – and I am sure there is not much flow in that area.
