Some days.
I would like to take my Palm Pre.
And watch it burst in to 1,000 pieces.
Today, is one of those days.
I just installed the free trial for “Asphalt 5″. It took a while to download – I read some where that it was over 60mb in size. I wen to launch the file and received my most favorite Pre error message.
“Sorry, too many cards please toss away any you’re not using to make room for more.”
Guess what.
I had zero cards opened. The phone is rebooting now. Which in itself is a five minute process.
OK the phone rebooted and came back up – guess what. I was able to run the game. What is it Palm? I never keep any cards open – they are all tossed away after I am done with them. Seems to me like there is just a gigantic gaping memory leak or memory isn’t being freed up when you toss a card away.
There is so much I like about this phone as well. I love the Touch Stone charger. I like the efforteless sync with Google and other providers. I like the slide out keyboard.
After the last upgrade I thought I had seen the last of the out of memory errors on this phone. Guess not.
