Think back a few years. Maybe your Jr. High School/Middle School years. For some that may be a a few years others a few decades. Just do it. You had a dream back then. I know you did. We all did. I did. I wanted to be a writer. You may look at this blog and it’s ramblings/misspellings/shortcomings and say yea right. But I did. At that age I loved churning out short stories. Writing prose. As I grew a tad older I wanted to own my own business.
Curious. If these were God given/God inspired dreams – are you following those dreams now? Or have you let them go by the wayside?
What got in the way of those dreams? Did you just forget about them? Did something get in the way of those dreams?
Are you still interested in pursuing those early dreams of your life? If so – what is one step you could take today to get you back on to the path of that dream? It all starts with the first step. Are you going to be bold enough to step out and take that first step? Or are you going to settle for what you have now? God has planted a seed in you. That seed can either be buried and stay buried – or it can be buried and ready to burst forth in growth. See, every seed needs buried in order to grow. You have to put that seed under the dirt. Maybe you’ve been put under the dirt – it’s time to grow.
So . . . how about you? What was your dream? Are you living it now? Would you still like to live it? What kept you from living that dream?
