I have a couple posts in the wings that I have been fleshing out and working on.  I have just been too busy lately.  Life does get that way.

Sounds really cool.  DVD video capture and a 5 mega-pixel camera.  It also looks to have a virtual keyboard (on screen) as well as a physical QWERTY keyboard.  The phone should be out in the first-half of 2009.

If anything changes I will update the site, but for now Tomato on a WRT54G router is working great.

Prelude:  This is more of a rant than anything else . . . thanks for listening.

So “The Holidays” are officially here.  Thanksgiving came and went in a furry of activity.  All I am left with is memories of a turkey that was.  Soon Christmas will be upon us, gifts will be given, come January it will all be a distant memory.  It’s the time of year when families attempt to get along with one another.  Fake hope is trotted around.  Many forgot the reason of Thanksgiving and Christmas.  How often do we really slow down and give thanks for all we’ve been blessed with.  Some times during “The Holidays” I can find myself in a real funk.  Brought on by the fakeness of all.  The hustle and bustle.

Google rolled out a way to skin/theme your Gmail account.

Yesterday they rolled out 30 themes to users.  If you don’t have the themes yet, you will soon.  Google is rolling the feature out over several days.  You will see a themes tab underneath your Settings.

Several of them look pretty cool - I may have to give one a shot.

You can only have shoddy stores and push sales people for so long.    I was in a Circuit City several months back, and vowed never to go again.  Best Buy seems to have the better store layout, and mostly great sales people on the floor.

Circuit City was the electronics store in the area I live in for quite some time.  They just seemed to go down hill rather quickly starting about ten years ago.

There is mention in the article of not being able to receive goods in time for black Friday if they do not get relief.  I wonder how big black Friday will be this year anyways?
