Spice up your inbox.
No. Get your mind out of the gutter.
Google rolled out a way to skin/theme your Gmail account.
Yesterday they rolled out 30 themes to users. If you don’t have the themes yet, you will soon. Google is rolling the feature out over several days. You will see a themes tab underneath your Settings.
Several of them look [...]

GMail Updates
So a few weeks back - the gmail team released the am I drunk test for sending emails. Quite a fancy update for a product still in beta. Today, I see that they have unleashed emoticon icons for gmail.
Now that the team is adding “for fun” type things - can we bring it out of [...]

Help for the drunks
Google released Mail Goggles today.
It is supposed to help me you quit sending those late night, booze influenced tirades. I am sure Brittany Spears will be glad that she no longer receives emails from me late at night on Friday. As I profess my love for some of that trailer park goodness.
So . . . [...]

Android Dream
After seeing pics of the new Google OS based phone the HTC Dream. I want to ask. WTF?
Seriously. Could that phone has been put on a more ugly platform? I have never really been fond of the HTC phones to begin with. The remind me of an older Palm Pilot or something from the early [...]

Android Dreams
We are hours away from T-Mobile releasing the much talked about Google phone - HTC Dream.

Google IP Policy Changes
Google made some changes recently to their IP Retention Policy. Previously logs on IP addresses were kept for 18 months. Google has vowed to change that to 9 months. This is partly due to an EU group wanting log retention to be kept at a minimum.
Google mentions in the post that this will pose challenges [...]

Chrome
After trying out Google Chrome for a few days - I have let it be. The concept is great, the browser seems faster to load pages than any other. The idea of isolating each tab from the browser process is sweet. I am, however so entrenched in Firefox that it would be very hard to [...]

I am looking forward to giving it a test spin to [...]
